One of Bali’s most famous cities, Ubud is the true ZEN of Bali. Literally located in the jungle with gorgeous scenery, it’s the center for crafts, yoga, rice paddies, Hindu temples and shrines. It’s definitely a MUST see on our Bali list, if you’re going for the first time.

Scooter rides are ALWAYS a good idea!

Scooter: The most popular mode of transportaiotn in Ubud and all of Bali. You can rent one for $5-7USD per day. NOTE: PLEASE be careful on these scooters as I’ve personally met people who’s brakes have gone out and crashed, breaking countless bones and ending up in the hospital. Do get travel insurance prior to coming (as you should for any trip).
